Title: Holy Spirit Party - Just come and play

I started with a question which painting do you want today. I felt I brought the one He wanted. On the drive-up last time, I asked what do You want to talk about? He said just come and play.

I have taught for over 50 years; God just wants to be with you. Every moment. If He catches each tear He is always there. Ask Him to play. He was telling me; He wanted to play today. Holy Spirit has proven to me over the years he is fun. He is funny. This week I asked for His strength and He said, NO! No? He said, you are sad. Something I am not used to being. Well, that was not expected.

Later, I realized that I was sad and that strength was not going to fix that. But a Holy Spirit party would. Refocusing on the first love, Jesus the Christ would. It worked. I am not sad now. The trinity in your life is the best thing ever. This painting was perfectly timed. Because I found out that Pastor Phil wrote the song, “Holy Ghost Party.” We sang it last time. It was in the feeling that God wanted to bring to this congregation last month. That was confirmation that I was hearing Him correctly. He wants to join you in your creative and your life.

He wanted to talk about the conditional and unconditional Gift of Jesus and salvation. About the Churches as being hubs of joy and light. Where He wants to be with all His children. The flow of the Holy Spirit has arrived and is flowing worldwide. The glory of God is falling. The revival starts with each person as an individual. The condition of the heart is the fertile ground it is planted in. A good Holy Spirit party helps fertilize the heart.

So, in the painting there are different shapes, and movements. A wide variety of color and great joy. I always remember a recurring dream-subject, of God. I named “The blue blanket of love.” Where the Holy Spirit flows into every country and every spider-hole to spread the good news of the Gospel. It was like a light blue fog, soft as silk. Flooded the whole earth with a love, never felt on earth before. So, the blue lines represent that. The yellow lines are more intense sections of glory. Pockets of the overwhelming presence of God.

Every circle, square and line have a different character a different set of colors and attributes. Some still unformed some filled with color and texture. Representing the people in the kingdom. The freedom of being able to develop into a more Christ like person. The way Holy Spirit wants to come and play with each of us as individuals; yet, not the same from one to one.

So, this painting asks a question which circle, square or line are you? How do you hear, see, feel and know the Holy Spirit in your life. Are you ready for a Holy Spirit party? Each week your church offers a Holy Spirit party to fertilize your heart. Enjoy.
